Who We Are
Chicago Professionals for Youth (CPY) is a network of young professionals focused on improving the lives of underprivileged young people throughout the city of Chicago. CPY accomplishes its mission by engaging young professionals in our network with high-impact volunteer opportunities working directly with local youth.
Our Volunteer Network
Our volunteer network is comprised of over 300 volunteers, members, and advocates who represent our young people, as well as our cause. They work with our youth and also for our youth by sharing their positive experiences and inspiring others to join us in our mission. This advocacy is the power of our network, which continues to grow every day. To learn more about getting involved with CPY, click Volunteer.
Our Efforts to Assist Chicago's Underserved Youth
Thanks to the endeavors of the CPY team and our volunteers, over 600 children and young men and women have benefited from the care and guidance of our mentors and tutors. We partner with a variety of non-profits, as well as schools in the Noble, Perspectives, and KIPP networks in order to impact as many kids as possible. CPY's program is comprised of quality initiatives designed to ensure the achievement of the young people we serve in the areas of:
- College Preparation
- Financial Literacy
- Career Skills Assistance
- Literacy
